ITN Studios and Jagged Edge Productions have teamed up to take on this adorable stag who lost his mother to an evil hunter, Dread Central reports.

No plot details have been revealed yet, but we can assume the film will feature Bambi taking revenge on the man who murdered his mother.

Revenge of the Exorcist and the Attic Spider, as well as the aforementioned Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey director Rhys Frake-Waterfield.

While there is no release date as yet for Bambi: The Reckoning, the no-doubt traumatic film is slated to start filming in January 2023.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, however, is set be released for one day only on February 15, 2023 in the US. A UK release date is yet to be announced.

Jeffrey said: “The film will be an incredibly dark retelling of the 1928 story we all know and love.

The film recently debuted an image of Winnie the Pooh's best friend, Christopher Robin, though Pooh and Piggy don't seem too happy to see him this time around.
