Japan has launched a new contest aged 20 - 39 to drink more.

The step was taken to increase the country’s revenue.

The competition named, Titled Sake Viva was launched by National Tax Agency

Authorities are urging people to come up with business ideas.

That might help increase demand for Japanese alcoholic drinks .

Sake, shochu, awamori, beer, whiskey, and wine.

Officials believe that the decline in sales is a result of the pandemic & aging population .
