The CEO of Saints Row isn’t very glad with the acquisition of the reboot of the GTA clone

According to Axios’ Stephen Totilo, Wingefors wasn’t pleased with Saints Row’s numbers. In an investor call, Todilo quotes Wingeforse saying that Embracer CEO was “sad to see also fans not happy.

Totilo added that Wingeforce wants to return to Saints Row’s sales figures in the next quarterly report to see whether things have improved.

If we are honest, it would be fair to compare Saints Row’s sales to the other games that sold better, namely Grand Theft Auto 5 and Madden NFL 23.

Madden NFL traditionally outsells every game when they come out in the United States. We’re not saying that it’s okay to settle for second place

It’s possible that Embracer and Deep Silver Volition will take these numbers in stride. They’re still going to have to go back to the drawing board to find out what the series was like to get back to its glory days.
