As per a public statement sent before the social event, there was a "severe no photograph and no video strategy" within the setting.

The “One Dance” rapper, 36, can be heard saying how he “loved” when Takeoff would remove his shades and squint his eyes while simultaneously having them wide open.

In the press release, Takeoff’s family also asked that in lieu of flowers or gifts, all attendees donate to the Rocket Foundation, which supports community-based programs that help prevent gun violence.

Following his funeral, his official obituary was shared which described him as “a most gentle soul, with a peace about him alongside a wise demeanor far beyond his years.”

The obituary detailed that “there are no words or sentiments conveyed that could aptly encompass the love so many had for him and the impact he made on this world.”
